Martin believes that one of the most readily-available yet woefully underutilized resources in the fight against HIV/AIDS is the faith-based community.

Already armed with a sense of urgency to serve others, members of the faith-based community need to be given a vision and mobilized to “awaken the warriors” in the global fight against HIV/AIDS.

The network is already in place. It simply needs to be utilized in a powerful manner to save countless lives and preserve the hopes and dreams of the world’s young people by actively stressing the importance of abstinence and faithfulness in marriage.
